Animal ears headdresses

Teacher’s instructions

Photocopy a selection of the worksheets on white A4 paper. Cut out one example of each. Show those examples to students and see if they can guess which animal you are supposed to be. Ask students to choose which animal they want to be, then help them as they colour in the shape, cut around the shape, and then cut along the straight line. Help them staple or sellotape two strips cut lengthwise from an A4 piece of paper (or ask them to ask you to do it) to make headbands, then stick the ears to the headband.

Useful classroom language

“Cut (in a straight line/ around the shape/ along the line)”

“Staple/ sellotape (here/ the headband to the ears)”
