Describe one visit to one of the kinds of restaurants below. If it is a kind of restaurant that you have really been to, choose one of those real visits and describe it in detail. If you’ve never been to any restaurant of that kind, describe an imaginary visit, pretending it was real. When you have finished your description, your partner will ask questions to get more details and then guess if your story was true or false. You should continue telling the truth or lying at this stage. If your teacher tells you to, use a coin to decide if you should talk about a kind of restaurant which you have really been to (= heads) or talk about one that you haven’t actually been to (= tails).
