Cards to cut up/ Suggested answers
For those |
of you |
who I haven’t introduced myself to yet,…
|
As the |
well-known
|
joke goes,… |
Albert Einstein |
once
|
said… |
There’s a |
famous
|
quotation that goes…
|
What I’d like to explain |
in my presentation today |
is…
|
I don’t have |
enough
|
time to explain this in detail, but..
|
I only have time to
|
quickly |
introduce the topic, but… |
By the end |
of my presentation
|
, I want to convince you that… |
First of all, I will give you
|
some |
information on… |
Then I’ll give a |
brief
|
overview of… |
Last |
of all |
, we’re going to focus on..
|
If anything |
at all
|
isn’t clear, please feel free to interrupt me at any time.
|
In the |
top right |
corner…
|
I’d like to look at this column |
of the table |
in more detail
|
It’s |
rather |
difficult to see, but this represents…
|
These |
three
|
bullet points are… |
As you can see, the |
overall |
trend is…
|
Let’s |
now
|
take a look at… |
I think |
all |
this proves that…
|
I’ll now be |
very |
happy to answer any questions that you have.
|
I’m afraid I don’t have that information
|
with me at the moment |
, but… |
I’m glad you asked |
me
|
that. |
If I understand |
you |
correctly, you are asking…
|
That’s a |
very |
good question.
|
Let me
|
just take a |
look at my notes.
|
Sorry,
|
it seems that
|
I didn’t explain myself very clearly. |
If there are no |
more |
questions, I’ll bring my presentation to a close.
|
I
|
seem to |
have run out of time. |
