If I were you Phrasal verbs Advice Game

Choose one of the problems below and ask your partner’s advice. They should give you their ideas with
“If I were you, I’d…”

and you should then respond with
“Thanks, I’ll try that”           “That might work. Maybe I’ll give that a try” or “Are you sure that’s a good idea?”
1. I can’t make my son say “Pardon” and not “What?” when he can’t hear

2. My friend got divorced (because she wanted to) and I don’t know if I should say “What a pity” or “Congratulations” when I meet her
