Without looking at the worksheet, listen to your teacher and show whether you think the position is “Normal” or “Strange” (by showing a card, touching a card or throwing something at a card)

The curtains are in front of the windows

The chairs are behind the desks

The floor is under the carpet

G

The Tippex is on the paper

The paper is in the envelope

A paperclip is on the paper

The chair is on the carpet

H

A thousand students are in the classroom

The dictionaries are in the bin

A boy’s watch is on his leg

A student has Tippex on his face

Test each other in pairs or small groups

Extension 1: Play Pictionary with the strange sentences from above

 

Extension 2: Design a school where everything is in the wrong place, labelling each thing that is wrong
