Teacher’s instructions
Photocopy and cut up a selection of suitable words from the packs given and/ or make your own cards on the blanks given. The cards given progress in difficulty from false beginner to about Intermediate.
Photocopy and cut up one set per group of three to six students plus some blanks or one set for the whole class, blown up quite large in the latter case. Students try to make a sentence using as many words from the pack as they can, plus any extra words they like, then draw that thing on the worksheets given (maybe blown up to A3) or on the board. They can then keep those cards and choose more to do the same with. They can reuse words on cards that have gone, but they won’t get any points for these. The winner is the person or team who has the most cards at the end of the activity.
