(Prepositions of position and body vocabulary)

Without looking at the worksheet, listen to your teacher and show whether you think the position is “Normal” or “Strange” (by showing a card, touching a card or throwing something at a card)

Write Normal or Different next to each of the sections below

His nose is between his eyes

There is hair between his ears and his eyes

There is hair between his eyes and his forehead

His tongue is between his lips

His armpit is under his shoulder

His neck is between his shoulders

His bottom is behind his hips

His knees are between his shins and his thighs

One ear is between his eyes

His eyebrows are under his eyes

His thumb is next to his little finger

His thumb is between his middle finger and his ring finger

His ankles are between his shins and his feet

His head is between his ears

His little finger is next to his ring finger

E

His nose is behind his neck

His hands are behind his ears.

There is hair under his foot

His eyelashes are above his eyebrows

F

His belly button is between his eyebrows and his hair

His nose is under his armpit

His eye is between his lips

His arms are next to his legs

His tongue is under his chin

His bottom is in front of him

His knees are behind him

His toes are behind his feet

H

His thumb is next to his index finger

There is hair between his top lip and his nose

Test each other in pairs or small groups

Extension 2: Design a monster which has all its body parts in strange places, labelling each part before you draw the next one
