“Now I’d like to talk about something together for about two minutes. I’d like you to imagine that some students are doing a project about increasing the number of foreign tourists to your city. Here are some ideas that they have had and a question for you to discuss. First you have some time to look at the task.”
(After about 30 seconds) “Now, talk to each other about whether you think each one would increase the number of tourists”.
(After two minutes) “Now you have about a minute to decide which one is the best idea”.
(After one minute) “Thank you” (and then go straight onto Part Four)

(After about 30 seconds) “Now, talk to each other about why people think these things are fun to do on holiday.”
(After two minutes) “Now you have about a minute to decide which two are best for a family holiday.”
(After one minute) “Thank you” (and then go straight onto Part Four)

Here are some things to think about and a question for you to discuss. First you have some time to look at the task.”
(After about 30 seconds) “Now, talk to each other about whether you think it’s better for people to take holidays in their own country or to go overseas”.
(After two minutes) “Now you have about a minute to decide which one factor is the most important to think about”.
(After one minute) “Thank you” (and then go straight onto Part Four)
