Try to guess the country in each sentence below. Some countries are used more than once.

 They first had the idea of putting vegetables on large flat pieces of bread, similar to modern pizza

 Modern pizzas couldn’t be invented until the tomato was discovered by Europeans there

 The Pizza Margarita, the first modern pizza, was invented there in 1889

 The idea of pizza was taken back from Europe to that country by soldiers who had been fighting in Europe in WWII
