Instructions for teachers
Slap down a card near or far from the students (e.g. at either end of a table) and see who can shout out the right “This/ That/ These/ Those” sentences describing what they can see and its position. You can also throw the flashcard into the air and see where it lands.
When you’ve presented all the language including the name of the toys, lay all the cards down, turn them over, mix them up a little, and place them near to and far from the students. Students who can make correct sentences about the cards while pointing to them get a point, with bonus points for correctly answering “How many… are there?” questions about the same card.
